About the Event
EIV Publishing proudly presents the launch of the latest book from author Maureen Weekes.
Maureen Weekes is an author, poet, singer and songwriter, who has spent many years working with and supporting women around the world. She is also the curator of the anthology Letters To My Younger Soul (available now on Amazon), which is a book project that invited women from across the globe to submit letters full of insight, wisdom, love and advice to their younger selves. In addition she hosts the popular podcast Letters To My Younger Soul - The Conversations.
This revised edition of a previously released book, expands upon the notion that life begins at 40 before or after you have had what some call ' a mid-life crisis'. Reflecting on her own journey and general social commentary on the issue, Maureen takes a contemplative and humorous look at this phase of life.
A quote from the book reads "Sting sang, “Every breath you take, every move you make, ………….. Every single day and every word you say…………….. I’ll be watching you.”Pay that much attention to yourself and celebrate even the smallest of victories and every step in the right direction." In reading this book and joining the conversation, You are invited to do the same.
With Maureen, its writer, known for being, at times, stoic, and at others witty with a dry sense of humor this re-release promises to be a book every woman 40 + (and maybe some younger) will find themselves wanting to read.
